Why Work With Us

Therapeutic Professional Development & Supervision

At Blue Dolphin Care, we are committed to investing in our staff. Caring for children with complex trauma is both immensely rewarding and challenging. We ensure our team members receive the support, training, and supervision they need to thrive professionally and personally.

Clinical Supervision Arrangements: All residential staff receive a minimum of 1.5 hours of monthly 1-to-1 reflective supervision, supplemented by monthly clinical reflective practice group sessions facilitated directly by our clinical psychology consultants from Meadows Psychology Service. This ensures our team has the space to process and refine their therapeutic parenting approaches.

Our Structured Training Pathway:

  • Induction: Safeguarding Level 3, PACE & ARC foundational models, and positive de-escalation frameworks.
  • Qualification: Fully funded enrolment in QCF/Diploma Level 3 & 4 in Residential Childcare (completed within 18 months of starting).
  • Advanced Practice: Specialist trauma-informed parenting, therapeutic keywork, and attachment-focused training loops.
"Working at Blue Dolphin Care is incredibly rewarding. Having direct access to clinical psychologists from Meadows Psychology Service during group reflections helps us map out regulation curves as a team. We feel fully equipped and supported."
